and Dentistry in 1998.
Sathyan worked in Birmingham for
the next four and a half years before purchasing

of time and effort in modernising the practice.
But not even the success of 57 Friar Gate
has shaddowed his love of dentistry.
Sathyan is a member of
the British Dental Association (BDA) and
the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry
(AACD). He has completed a One-Year Course
in Implantology in London and has held the
postion of President of the Birmingham Young
Dentist's Association in 2000. As an advocate
of Continuing Professional Development (CPD),
he attends many courses around the world
to keep ahead of the changes in modern thinking
in Dentistry. His has a special interest
in cosmetic dentistry and crown and bridge
work. He is currently a full-time dentist
at the practice.
In his spare time you
can catch him either repairing equipment or planning
the next phase for modernisation and design for
the practice ! He is a big science-fiction fan
and as such many of his friends try not to talk
about the topic in fear of having to tolerate him
going on about it !
Matthew Angrave:
Matthew qualified from Birmingham
Dental School in 2001. He worked in Birmingham
for much of his career after gaining his Vocational
Training. He has worked for over 3 years with
nervous and 'phobic' patients and as such has
great skill in dealing with their problems. He
has attended courses in sedation (Society for
the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry)
and provides it in practice when necessary.
Matthew
has been known to have an interest in motorsports.
His technical knowledge, although sound, does
often have the nurses running for a coffee break
!
Khushvinder Bola:
Khushvinder qualified from Liverpool University in 2003. His learning in dentistry has been a continuing process with participation in numerous
courses to keep him ahead of the changes in modern dentistry. He is currently pursuing a post graduate qualifacation in general dental practice (MFGDP).

He has attended numerous courses and is offering two special cosmetic treatments to his patients: Clearstep - a revolutionary system that corrects certain cases of crowded teeth without the need for conventional braces. Mr Bola also offers Lumineers, which are the thinnest veneers on the planet. These can even sometimes be places without the teeth being drilled.
In his spare time he enjoys reading, going to the gym and playing football. His only down side is that he is a Derby County supporter!
