Sathyan Thambirajah:

Sathyan
qualified at the Royal London School of Medicine
and Dentistry in 1998.
Sathyan worked in Birmingham for
the next four and a half years before purchasing
57 Friar Gate. He has placed a great deal
of time and effort in modernising the practice.
But not even the success of 57 Friar Gate
has shaddowed his love of dentistry.
Sathyan is a member of
the British Dental Association (BDA) and
the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry
(AACD). He has completed a One-Year Course
in Implantology in London and has held the
postion of President of the Birmingham Young
Dentist's Association in 2000. As an advocate
of Continuing Professional Development (CPD),
he attends many courses around the world
to keep ahead of the changes in modern thinking
in Dentistry. His has a special interest
in cosmetic dentistry and crown and bridge
work. He is currently a full-time dentist
at the practice.
In his spare time you
can catch him either repairing equipment or planning
the next phase for modernisation and design for
the practice ! He is a big science-fiction fan
and as such many of his friends try not to talk
about the topic in fear of having to tolerate him
going on about it !
Jatinder Dhadli
GDC No: 83924
Jatinder was born in derby and qualified as a Dentist from the University of Birmingham in July 2004. After completing his vocational training in 2005 he worked in a private practice ever since. He has excellent skills in communication and is very good with dealing with nervous or anxious patients. Jatinder has attended numerous courses in London in the field of cosmetic dentistry and in 2008 compted a 15-month long course in restorative dentistry with Paul Tipton.
Outside of dentistry, he likes to socialise with friends and collegues and spend time with his family. He is a keen football player, and has been the captain of a seven a side team in a local league in Wolverhampton. As the newest addition to our team at 57 FG, we welcome him and are currently offering him longer appointments to get to know his patients.
Khushvinder Bola:

Khushvinder qualified from Liverpool with his BDS in 2003 and completed his Vocational Training at the University of Manchester a year later. Since then he has been committed to his continuing professional development. Khushvinder has recently completed a Diploma course in Dental Homeopathy, one year course in Cosmetic Dental in London, one year comprehensive dental implants course at the world-famous Tatum Institute and is due to complete his MJDF qualification by the Royal College of Surgeons by 2010. His academic interests involve cosmetic dentistry, dental implantology and functional orthodontics. He has enrolled on a Bristol University course for a Diploma in Postgraduate Dentistry and hopes to complete his Msc in implantology at the University of Warwick.
Khushvinder is a member of several organisations: British Dental Association (BDA), British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Association of Dental Implantology (ADI UK), Functional Orthodontic Support Group (FOSG), and the International Association of Orthodontics (IAO).
In his spare time, Khushvinder enjoys reading, going to the gym and plays a huge amount of football. His only down side is he is a Derby County Supporter !
Shema Oommen

Dr. Oommen qualified in 1997 and has practiced dentistry in a number of dental arenas. She has worked within the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Unit, providing minor oral surgical procedures, at the South Manchester University Hospital.
She has worked in a large private practice for several years where she focused on preventative dentistry, but was also able to contribute her skills to her patients in the disciplines of periodontics, prosthetics and restorative dentistry.
She has a wide range of surgical experience from working at the Orthodontic, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Bangor, where she worked as a Senior House Officer. Her time here afforded Dr. Oommen with a familiarity in oncology, salivary gland diseases, and their treatments, and orthagnathic surgery. In addition she has worked in the Orthodontic Department and is fluent with the management of malocclusions and brace work.
Dr. Oommen received here MFDS in Edinburgh October 2005. |
